Vaijayanti Drumm

 

Trainer and Consultant

Vaijayanti has worked in mental health, social care and education for over 25 years. She started her career in forensic psychiatry working in a medium secure unit in London. She has worked with varied client groups including adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, challenging behaviours, as well as those with severe and enduring mental health issues. She was employed as a Mental Health Social Worker for eight years before developing the post of Mental Health Coordinator for her local Further Education College.

Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Behavioural Family Therapy, she has a teaching qualification as well has her degree in Psychology. She now uses her education and experience to train other professionals. She is an associate trainer for Mind as well as running her own training company.

Paul Drumm

Paul is a Registered Mental Health Nurse who has a diploma in Health Studies. He has over thirty years’ experience in various Mental Health settings including Forensic, Community and residential environments. He has expertise in Mental Health, Learning Disability, Dual Diagnosis disciplines as well as Management.

Paul’s repertoire of interventions include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (ie depression and anxiety management), Family Behavioural Therapy, Management of Challenging Behaviour, Carer Support / Education groups, Social inclusion/ Rehabilitation therapies, Hospitalisation Prevention Plans, Care Planning and Risk Assessment and Smoking Cessation courses.

Paul’s extensive experience, Clinical expertise and in depth knowledge has proven invaluable in compiling and facilitating courses for Drumm Training and Consultancy.
